Well hi there! Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Laura Ehlers. I am a writer.

I am currently working on a novel – dark and humorous – about a methamphetamine cook looking to go straight. There are bikers, ex-cons, strippers, a horny vintner and a diner chef. Its about choices, change and a new spin on 'cook-off'. Stop by the website every now and then. Things are slow to change in Baldus Knob in Franklin County but when changes happen you can count on it being...explosive.

Since my return to writing I have had two horror short stories published in 69 Flavors of Paranoia. I have also had short stories published in collaborative books Vicious Spirits and Vicious Dead. These were the stories of zombies and ghost and one mean little experiment. But I don't really care to look at life as a scary place. To me, life is more an ongoing argument for natural selection. You know, Darwinesque. And if you can't evolve chances are you are going to provide the rest of us with some pretty good laughs.
